Dahl was tasteless and very watery. Garlic naan breads didn’t have much taste of garlic and the butter chicken had no taste and was also very watery. Very disappointed as we had heard great things about the food. Won’t be back in a hurry

Really lovely takeaway curry. Tasty food, super flavour, not greasy. Really quick service. Highly recommend. Great to finally have a decent local restaurant to eat in and takeaway.

The food is always amazing here my partner and i love it. The only thing i can comment on is the poppadoms when ordering it seams like you will get 2 poppadoms plus a sauce for each order however when we order 3 we got 3 poppadoms and 2 sauces. When we called though they sent us out the remaining poppadoms with a narn and beer as an apology which was much appreciated

The special (Bombay Green) was truly spectacular, wonderfully spiced, tasty and hot. Chicken Malayan, soft, fruity smooth not spicy at all, just delicious. Not the first time we've ordered from Bombay, and definitely won't be the last.

I have had the same meal in the restaurant and it was much nicer than the take away version. The korma sauce in the takeaway version was different and runny compared to the version in the sit in restaurant. Still nice but not the same.

The Bombay Special Curry in Prestonpans was excellent, big chunks of tender meat and tasty sauce. My only very slight criticism would be the prawns. They were quite tough and overcooked and I would compare them more to much smaller shrimps rather than prawns but still tasty. This is a quite expensive and rare treat and I will be back again :)

I ordered the bombay aloo, my husband ordered Chicken Dopiaza, we also got the Masala chips, garlic naan and Boiled rice. I was super impressed with my bombay aloo, there was a lot of potatoes in it, lovely and soft. Very tasty. Husband loved his chicken and the Masala chips where delicious with a nice heat/kick.

Excellent food and very reasonable priced if ever in the area again will definitely return.

Service, waiting time and quality of the food was excellent. The only let down was the poppadoms. Asked for 3 portions, got 1 full and what looked like maybe another one in smashed bits. All very oily and not pleasant. That aside, I'd definitely use again as we all really enjoyed our mains, rice and naans.

Lovely food with some lovely touches like poppadoms we hadn't expected and even a Christmas card.
