Food is consistently excellent!

Food was very tasty but having to wait 2 1/2 hours after ordering is unacceptable. Website showed it was on its way after 1 1/2 hours but when it was overdue and I called the restaurant, I was told that it was just leaving the kitchen. Such a shame. This business really needs to get on top of its deliveries or will lose customers.

Food was amazing and piping hot. Quick bit of feedbackz. Might be worth having someone checking the orders before they leave. Not a huge issue but we were short our popodoms and mint sauces from our order. Didn’t spoil our meal and not complaining but all feedback is good feedback right 😉! Either means you have done a great job, or you have a great opportunity to do even better 😉!

First time we’ve used Bombay Bar. Ordered through the app. Easy to do. Food was great. Plenty of meat in the dishes, and sauce! Family of four and no complaints. Bit of a mix up with our collection, but these things happen. Wouldn’t sit in as music too loud.

Delicious food as always. Only disappointment that the 6 starters only had 3 salad pots.

Always used Bombay lounge Dalkeith, unfortunately didn’t deliver to Tranent, but this is the first time we have used the Bombay grill was really pleased food was delicious will definitely use again

Absolutely beautiful everything was delicious

It was Saturday night which is understandable but delivery took 1hr 25 mins which is a bit too long.

One of our portions of rice was cold but easily reheated in the microwave.

Great food. Ready for collection 5 minutes ahead of schedule. The complimentary poppadoms and bottle of lager were a bonus. 😋😋

Waited 2 and a half hours for delivery and they delivered to the wrong address. Won’t be ordering again

Once again food was excellent, although the Bhuna was not to my wife's taste being too bland....same comment as last time on popadom "pickle tray", despite ordering extra mint sauce and onion salad (tiny portions.....) total of 4 small containers, 2 of the mint sauce so presumably one was with pakora(?) so "tray" was one mango sauce? Come on guys, don't spoil a meal for sake of a better assortment! I would have expected some sauce with the tandoori mix grill as well?

Poppadoms and trays missing

Food was warm, not roasting and on collection had to go looking for someone to be able to collect the food.

Every dish was delicious, including the chutneys and breads. It cost slightly more than our usual takeaway, but the food quality was high and it seemed worth the extra. Everything was well packaged too. We'd recommend.

Meal was fantastic. Really easy to order, received a text message when it was ready for collection. Staff really friendly and food was AMAZING. We will definitely be back again. :)

As good as the meal we enjoyed in the restaurant! Only slight disappointment was the "pickle tray" with poppadom's was a bit mean (hence 4* for restaurant service)! Know next time to order mint sauce etc separately. Everything else was generous helpings, well cooked and very tasteful. Side comment about restaurant....the main room we were in a couple of weeks ago is very nice, but no windows and stark lighting spoils the "ambience". Probably was very good as small function room, but needs something to entice us back in to eat there regularly.

Gorgeous food and very friendly staff. Quick to resolve the issue of the order not coming through and just all round great experience. Will be back!
